Industrial Aluminium Profile
What are the main application areas of industrial aluminum profiles?
Automation equipment: conveyor line frames, robot structural parts (lightweight, high precision).
Architecture and transportation: curtain walls, rail cars (corrosion resistance, wind pressure resistance).
Medical and electronics: clean room equipment, radiators (dustproof, excellent heat dissipation)
What are the commonly used aluminum alloy materials for industrial aluminum profiles?
6063-T5 and 6061 aluminum alloys (6 series alloys) are recommended. They are lightweight, corrosion-resistant and easy to extrude, and are the mainstream choice in the industrial field. Broken bridge aluminum profiles need to be matched with PA66 nylon insulation strips, and the heat transfer coefficient can be reduced to 2.0-3.0 W/(㎡·K), which is significantly better than the 3.5-5.0 of ordinary aluminum profiles.
Note: Avoid using recycled aluminum (rough surface, easy to deform), and the profile wall thickness must meet the national standard (external windows ≥1.8mm, external doors ≥2.2mm).
What is aluminum profile?
What are special aluminium profiles?
Special profiles are products with complex shapes that are mainly used in the construction and furniture industries, the automotive sector and the transport industry. For example, aluminium frames with screw attachments, drains and deflectors, glass extrusions, picture frames, vehicle trim profiles, corner pieces with special cross-sections, aluminium handles and handrails are just some of the special profiles we produce every day.
What is the ideal length for aluminum profiles?
It is entirely based on the specific needs of your application. Different structural projects require different lengths of aluminum profiles. Therefore, you need to determine the exact length required for your application to ensure that the order is the correct size.
How do extruded aluminum profiles compare to drawn aluminum profiles?
What problems will exist on the surface of industrial aluminum profiles?
Bubbles refer to the surface bubbles generated by industrial aluminum profiles during the extrusion process, not caused by casting porosity. Of course, casting porosity may be a cause, but it is by no means a decisive factor. Casting porosity may form a large number of bubbles on the surface of aluminum profiles during the quenching heat treatment after extrusion. The bubbles generated by extrusion remain in their original state during quenching and will not develop further.
Industrial aluminum profiles vs. industrial aluminum alloys, how much do you know about their differences?
In modern industrial production, aluminum is widely used in various fields due to its light weight, high strength and corrosion resistance. Specifically, although industrial aluminum profiles and industrial aluminum alloys are both derived from the basic element of aluminum, they have obvious differences in form, use and properties. This article will explore the differences between these two materials in depth, in order to provide accurate material selection basis for related industries.
